tv series.

yeah, i’m actually spamming my blog with new posts. this is how i appreciate my free time in between the end of exam and before my training camp. anyway, i wanted to blog about the tv series that i faithfully follow, and there are quite a number of them, but it hadn’t been realised. i wanna start now. so i figure i’ll just introduce those series in this post.

heroes

heroes

guess i do not need to introduce this series. this is like the series that the whole world knows and was the one that opened my eyes about the wonders of the american tv series. who doesn’t want to have the powers of peter and nathan petrelli, matt parkman or sylar. well, i do. sadly, i’ve stopped following heroes after like the 3rd season, cos i feel like the series kept going on a cycle that makes it kinda boring. but still, all hail heroes.

favourite part: fightings which involve a lot of sparks and lighting special effects.

house m.d.

house m.d.

surely my favourite among the rest. the series revolve around a crippled doctor gregory house who has a gift in diagnostic medicine. he has a weird relationship with his best-friend dr. wilson who is an oncologist. house always tries to test his subordinates while treating his patients. the fact that house is extremely smart and oblivious to all rules are what interests me. however, watching this makes you wonder why there are so many sick people in the states. and they are never just sick, these people are always really really sick with some weird diseases.

favourite part: whenever house realise what’s wrong with the patient at the end of the episode as if he had some divine revelation. his expression is wicked.

lost

lost

maybe the longest series which i have followed so far. story revolves around a group of plane-crash survivors in an island in the middle of the pacific ocean. they waited and tried to be saved and get off the island. however, it seems like the island holds many secrets and the survivors soon realise that they are there for a reason. although the series feature many main characters, and always shifts its focus on a different character every episode, the main story still runs smoothly and elegantly.

favourite part: jack shepard vs sawyer vs john locke. simply classic. and the hilarious hugo reyes.

the big bang theory

the big bang theory

story revolves around 4 geek friends, sheldon cooper, leonard hofstadter, howard wolowitz and rajesh koothrappali who are all researchers in a university. the scenes are most often played in sheldon’s and leonard’s apartment and also the university labs. also, there is penny, the hot female next-door neighbour who eventually becomes leonard’s girlfriend. this is some funny shit man. sometimes you just can’t stop laughing for the 20 minutes. these people are seriously what every geek want to be.

favourite part: everything about sheldon.

how i met your mother

how i met your mother

the story about ted mosby and 4 of his friends marshall eriksen, lily aldrin, robin scherbatsky and barney stinson. the naration is of ted is telling the story of how he met his wife to his children in the future. marshall and lily are eventually married and are a weird but lovely couple. robin is hot. and barney is a womanizer. these friends most often meet in the mclaren’s bar just in the basement of ted’s new york apartment.

favourite part: barney hitting on a woman. the playbook and the perfect week rocks.

chuck

chuck

this is about a stanford dropout named chuck bartowsky who worked in a ‘buy more’ store and is surrounded by weirdos and losers. suddenly, top government secrets are planted into chuck’s brain which enables him to ‘flash’ on bad guys. as a result he must protected by a uber-hot cia agent sarah walker. well, chuck now has to lead a double-life.

favourite part: agent sarah walker in her undergarments.

fringe

fringe

the weirdest and scariest of all. this is about how fbi agent olivia dunham tries to solve weird cases involving fringe science with the help of the charming and resourceful peter bishop and his genius dad walter bishop. however, the more they find, the more they realise how little they know.

favourite part: walter bishop explaining the science behind the bizarre cases.

lie to me

lie to me

dr. cal lightman owns ‘the lightman group’ and his company specialises on finding the truth. by observing the micro-expressions and body language, lightman could tell when someone is lying, and by the gift of persuasion he always eek out the truth.

favourite part: lightman walking round his office for no reason just for a dramatic ending.

leverage

leverage

nathan ford the mastermind, sophie deveraux the grifter, eliot spencer the hitman, parker the thief and alec hardison the hacker are the members of the deadliest con crew in town. they lie and steal to get what they want. however, they operate on an alternate revenue source and often help those who are disadvantaged. thumbs up on showcasing a con in a hilarious way.

favourite part: parker saying weird things that she does.

(forgot this one earlier)

star wars: the clone wars

star wars: the clone wars

man, i loved the movie. but i think the tv series is even better. the story revolves on the fights during the clone war period. the war raged in between the episode II and episode III of the star wars saga. in this series, you’ll see the magnificent jedi skills and the prowess of the clone army. seriously enjoyable to watch and not only for kids.

favourite part: captain rex is my hero. seeing him lead his clone troopers into battles are a treat to be savoured. ( he’s the one on the far right on the poster )
