supper.

hello blog.

nowadays i can’t seem to find a good time to write. on training days, i would hit the bed straight after i reach home. and most of my weekends are also spent staying out.

especially now, since my common test is in less than 2 weeks, i’m allocating more and more of my time for studies. mainly cos i dont wanna be banned from competition, which could happen if i get an atrociously bad result.

there is still one thing that i dont seem to ever fail to do every night though, i must fulfill my night cravings. my supper menu is getting grander every time. especially since i have just recently reach 80kg. now, it seems possible to reach my personal ideal weight of 85-90kg.

these days, i would make ham croissant sandwich with cheese, coupled with either meiji chocolate milk or soya milk, and also fruits like grapes or kiwi. (i even peel the kiwi myself)

as you can see, my menu is packed with protein. so, although i’m gaining a lot of pounds, it’s pumping my muscles instead of making me more flabby.

for those who wants to gain weight, my advice is to be patient. continue to eat more, but also watch out for the kind of food that you’re feeding your body. my weight was pretty much constant for many years, and i was skinny as hell. but i gained almost 15 kg since a little bit more than a year when i started to pay attention to the nutrition my body receives.

good luck man.

a healthy supper.

no title.

just another day. not a bad one though.

before i forget. i got a chance to reflect on something earlier today. seems like everyone is getting more mature, their attitudes slowly but surely shifting more into adulthood. however, i still seem very much childish. acting so carefree and even all my jokes still are so childish. i like it though. if i could have it my way, i wanna stay as a kid.

the school paid for us to watch a movie today. not many school would do this. however, we watched the movie at lido, my most hated cinema in the whole of singapore. the biggest 2 studios there might still be decent, but the rest are total nightmare. the seats are uncomfortable, they are also all level which means that you will be blocked by the head of the guy sitting in front of you. the screen are also too high, making you need to stretch your neck, to counter it you need to lie down as low as possible on your seat.

luckily, i’ve watched the movie previously. it was invictus. still a really good show. i could make out more of the conversation which was hard to understand as it was covered by the south-african accent. realised one thing, the watch that the referee wore in the final match was the same as mine.

unluckily, the bus left us at orchard. we only went to the loo for a jiffy, but the rest of the school was already gone. damn. mac, jea, bon and i was left there. we went around accompanying mac to find some t-shirt and pants, he could only found a t-shirt though, and went for lunch afterwards. the nydc student lunch was damn worth it. the discount was great, especially on the upgrades. you could order a $10 drink for just $3. hmm.

nydc wheelock

went back to school. the freshmen was just learning the ‘la bamba’ dance when i arrived. lingered around with valora, sarah’s og. even went to their og dinner. quite fun. i’ve got nothing to do anyways.

oh yeah, on the bus back from orchard to school, there was this girl on the bus standing in front of me. i could feel that she was looking at me, as though checking me out. after passing parkway, as usual, a lot of people alight from the 36 bus, so there was a lot of empty seats. i sat, and that girl sat beside me. suddenly,

girl: eh, you’ve got a hole in your pants (for real). Tan never scold you huh?

me: hmm. (still surprised that she actually asked that) he never saw it.

girl: you’re lucky. my friend got scolded cos he got a hole in his pants.

me: you’re from vj is it?

girl: yeah, your grand senior.

me: ooh.

and we kept talking until she needed to alight at kc. nothing special though. seldom a stranger talked to me in a bus. funny.

it’s getting late. there’s training tomorrow. gotta save my strength. nites dudes.

x-ray.

howdy people.

i really want to thank you the 13 people who actually visited my blog today. at first i did not expect anyone to read my writing at all, but this has just reignited my spirit in writing. thanks dudes/gals.

3 updates on my life today:

1. i went to the hospital to get my shin x-rayed today. i needed to take a very long bus ride to reach the place and waited for more than an hour before i could get myself registered for an operation that took less than 15 mins. darn. strange thing, the x-ray cassettes were definitely designed for the average height people because the doctor needed to take multiple shots of my shin, ‘your legs are too long’ she said. not only that, when i was in the x-ray room, i kept hearing strange noises which i presumed came from the machine, it was so silent in the room beside that noise particularly because my doctor had a sore throat (crap, i was treated by a sick doctor), and that just made the place eerie.

2. training. i was quite happy cause i did not need to run today cause of injured shin. but i still cycled on the machine. it is strange how i sweat more when i cycle than when i run, but it is indeed less tiring. after cycling for almost half-an-hour, you would feel like floating when you started to walk again, the kind of lightness you feel in your legs. training today was great though, despite the intermittent rain which made me slip on the court once. i was in the zone! scored almost every ball that came to my possession. hope i could keep it up.

3. dinner today was at 85. or more famous as bā-shí-wǔ, which is basically just the mandarin pronunciation of the number. it is a hawker centre in the heart of bedok. how nice is it? just say you could smell how nice it is when you get off the bus on the opposite side of the road. the many seafood grill stall, chicken wing, and oyster omelet are the favourites, but the bak chor mee is still the highlight.

85 fengshan centre

that’s all folks. tomorrow my training starts early in the morning, 8 o’clock. which i hate, cause i just can’t seem to wake up in the morning during the holidays. so, i gotta sleep early.

tschuss. aldo.

don’t stop me now, cause i’m having a good time, and i don’t wanna stop at all.
