gameweek 26 on the barclay’s premier league has just ended. a record-breaking and personally amazing week. 43 goals in a week? oh man, that was something. and it was capped of by the amzing chelsea versus liverpool match. by amazing i mean that liverpool won and torres did not get a chance to shine on his first showing wearing a blue jersey. my verdict on the teams.

  • stoke city : talk about a late goal eh.
  • sunderland : sorry, but liverpool deserve to be above you.
  • aston villa : what a strong leg walker has got there.
  • fulham : you’ve got to tell pantsil straight on his face that he is not a striker.
  • everton : one word ‘saha’.
  • blackpool : you should have ended your losing streak.
  • manchester city : refuse to comment.
  • west bromwich albion : come on, di matteo is the best coach as far as you can get.
  • newcastle : what a comeback! (cliche)
  • arsenal : blame diaby.
  • tottenham : lucky.
  • bolton : i would’ve been happier if you could have hang on to the draw.
  • wigan athletic : is mccarthy the all england junggling champion? wicked.
  • blackburn rovers : i know you scored three goals. but, meh.
  • manchester united : complacent.
  • wolverhampton wonderers : awesome. magnificent. amazing. jaw dropping. mind blowing.
  • birmingham city : zigic is a tall lad. seriously.
  • west ham united : i don’t know why you are losing. you’ve got good players.
  • chelsea : haha. who has the last laugh now. thanks for the money.
  • liverpool : meireles is as hot as the core of the sun. watch out.

i see why i am never gonna be a football commentator, i am too damn biased. like i bloody care.

with king kenny we will never walk alone to greatness!

the march holiday.

it has been a good time away from studying after the hectic first common test. not sure that i’m gonna score well on the exam though. i’ll be dead when i got the results. hope my ears will survive all the nagging.

well, i had training camp from tuesday till thursday. two training sessions in a day. morning run was always the most difficult part of the day. then we go on to shooting drills. the centres did 240 shots each. we could only end like 11.30 for the morning session. then we shower and have lunch. back to our bunk and sleep the rest of the afternoon off. evening training session starts at 4pm. defense was all we did for this camp. even when we were playing, the focus had always been on the defense. shower again and off for dinner. highlights would be the icing session on the second night and the dinner at 85.

i was exhausted when i went back to the hostel on thursday evening. went straight to bed to wake up on friday afternoon. went out to see amelia. but i needed to wait for her. so i went to watch ‘how to train your dragon’ which was only available in 3d. has been a while since i watch a movie on my own. it is really enjoyable and not at all pathetic like most  people would assume. i could focus more on the story that way. when i got out of the studio, i saw melissa queuing to buy a ticket and she was actually with wee liang. they eventually decided not to watch at cathay and to go to plaza singapura instead. walked with them there. melissa actually wanted to meet amelia, but they needed to rush for the movie. i went to eat ice cream with amelia at swensen’s. julian joined half-way. then we went for dinner with dhea. the four of us then went to buy a present for rizky. we bought him a miniature of anakin’s jedi starfighter with anakin and r2-d2 figurine. we all know rizky likes star wars. but there were so many choices and we were unsure which one to pick. so i picked the  one i liked. hope he shares the same taste.

had a friendly match against meridian jc on saturday morning. it was scheduled to be played at school. but it was raining ceaselessly and we only had outdoor court. needed to wait for coach to find another venue, and so we played bridge. ms tan saw and was furious. she gave me her blackest face and nagged at me. but i didn’t care. then we all went to anglican high to play. we had a good match, winning by quite a margin. but we weren’t satisfied as we let the opponents scored too many points, showing that our defense training weren’t sufficient. it was already quite late in the afternoon when we finished our lunch. went to novena to accompany amelia while she was studying at a stabucks outlet. she is having her exam next week. i finished reading ‘outliers’ by malcolm gladwell there.

stayed overnight at julian’s place that night. nothing exceptional happened. julian and i went to the national library in the afternoon just to look at some art books. i found some movie art books to look at. gives me a sense of how a movie is made with all the visual effects, drawings, and prop. maybe movie-making is one field i can apply my future ‘electrical engineering and IT’ skills to. if there’s one thing i wanna do is to give every people an opportunity of watching quality television shows that can educate like those in america. people in indonesia are too ingrained in their telenovelic and mind-dumbing tv shows till they do not know what they are missing at.

went to watch liverpool vs manu earlier this evening with ariston at chijmes. it has also been a while. it was kinda disappointing. the match was plain. the players were not spirited. or maybe it’s also because of the fact that pool lost the match. damn, it’s gonna be hard to reach that 4th spot.

well, this morning school restarts. damn.

liverpool won!

oh yeah, liverpool won over tottenham at anfield yesterday. thanks to the two wonderful goals by dirk kuyt. and quoting him, ‘i hope it is the start of a good run.’

i am also amazed at how well kuyt spoke english. unlike other foreign players.

side-note: the arsenal v bolton match was also f-ing good.

whc wezep 1-14 ajax.

man, seriously, you don’t see this things happen very often.

it is certainly a one sided match.

furthermore, it looks to me like a game played in ‘pro evolution soccer’. all the movements and the goals.

enjoy.

pro evolution soccer.

pes has been my most faithful companion this holiday. just as it has done in the last year-end holiday.

in fact, this game which used to be known as winning eleven (this title is still used for the japanese version of the game), has been accompanying me since my early primary school days.

the game has gotten better graphically and more difficult throughout the years, with the latest being pes 2010. but my skills in playing this game has gotten better too.

this is practically the game which i can’t get enough of. only one other game gives me the same feeling, which is the need for speed series.

i’ve just finished playing the master league mode of the game. just won a treble with my liverpool team, playing in the spanish league. although, the actual liverpool team currently has a very poor form, that is not the case with my master league team. with me having changed almost the whole line-up of the team.

ALDO’s Liverpool Master League Team

gk – pepe reina

cb – skrtel, agger

sb – lahm, matuidi

cmf – gerrard

smf – ribery, montolivo

amf – giovinco

cf – torres, agbonlahor

noteworthy subs – jovanovic, rafael da silva, hamsik, vela

this team scored 100+ goals in the first half of the season. credit my favorite striker, fernando torres, who scored 30 out of those goals.

buzz out.

ob-la-di, ob-la-da,

life goes on.
